The Uruguayan Gustavo Ferrin has been chosen as new coach of the Angola national football team, has informed the Federation of this country in a statement.
Ferrin, of 53 years, succeeds the Angolan Romeu Filemon, interim coach following the departure of the Portuguese Lito Vidigal after the African Cup of Nations 2012, which did not exceed the group stage in Office.
The Uruguayan coach, who signed the contract with Pedro Neto, President of the Federation of Angola (FAF), will debut on 15 August in a friendly match against Mozambique.
