The Spanish technical Xabier Azkargorta is very close to train Bolivia football to advanced negotiation with the press and sports leaders from that country on Monday to make a final announcement, official sources reported today.
The dealings
The Secretary general of the Federation Boliviana of football (FBF), Pedro Zambrano, told Efe today that the decision will be taken on Monday at a Board meeting based on the report of the Chairman of the institution, Carlos Chávez, who negotiated with the Bolivian Julio Cesar Baldivieso and Azkargorta.
He added that Azkargorta has "the greater sympathy of the people and the national policy" for the Office, but insisted that still isn't taken decision to 100 percent.
The newspaper "La Razón" gives this Friday assured that "the Basque returned to the national team" and will be presented on Monday in the Eastern Santa Cruz city, while "La Prensa" notes that the wage discrepancies have been exceeded and is the closest to the job candidate.
The leaders have also made progress in the adoption of the plan of work and the technical body proposed by Azkargorta for 16 months, until the conclusion of the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers, sources consulted by Efe said.
Bolivia ran out of coach ten days ago to resign the argentino-boliviano Gustavo Quinteros, alleging discrepancies with the clubs of the League which reduced the selection work plan with a view to the next party of visitors to Ecuador. Quinteros was then linked to Ecuadorian Club Sport Emelec.
Fond memories
Azkargorta, popularly known in Bolivia as 'the mustachioed', already coached the team in 1993 and ranked it United States 1994 world, with one of the best Bolivian brackets in decades.
Currently, the selection of Bolivia ranked seventh in the classification of the qualifiers with four points products of their tie against Argentina and a triumph before Paraguay.
The next matches of the green are on September 7 against Ecuador in Quito, on October 12 in La Paz against Peru, and four days later, also local, to Uruguay. The WFF has also confirmed that on 15 August Bolivia play in Santa Cruz against the selection of Benin, when the new coach will be released.
